bp Work+Family Space
bp has made a commitment to helping its employees manage their care responsibilities by partnering with Work+Family Solutions.
As a bp employee you may use up to 6 subsidised sessions of backup care per year (renewing 1st August). The sessions can be used across Emergency Childcare, School Holiday Cover, and Backup Adult & Eldercare. For each session, you will contribute £20 towards the cost of care.
Work+Family Space is also fantastic destination for updates, advice, and emotional & practical support in managing your day-to-day life as a working parent or carer.

Emergency Childcare
1 session booked is equal to 1 day at a nursery, up to 10 hours at a childminder or up to 5 hours of an emergency nanny.
School Holiday Cover
1 session booked is equal to 1 day at a holiday club, including any extras.
Backup Adult & Eldercare
1 session booked is equal to up 5 hours of a carer.
Tutoring
2 sessions booked is equal to up to 4 hours of a credit purchase.
Please note
The bp contribution to your costs will clearly be shown on the final booking step. You can choose to book without the subsidy, if it is for personal reasons.
To make use of the subsidy, you must book care through the website and not directly with a care provider.
