Leaving your child in safe hands
All English and Welsh based Emergency Childcare childminders are Ofsted registered and verified members of PACEY/CSSIW. Our Scottish based childminders are verified members of the SCMA and are regulated by the Care Inspectorate (SCSWIS).
The majority of childminders and nurseries you'll find on our website have been used and recommended by individual parents. If there's a local childminder you would like to be able to use that isn't already on our website, please complete our nomination form, and we'll contact them about joining.

A more cost effective childcare option
Childminders can be a really cost effective option for parents needing last minute childcare. Prices are set by the childminders themselves. Their hourly rates range from £4.00 to £15.00 per hour. Although typically an emergency childminder will be about £7.00 per hour.

We advise parents who register with us to do a little research, so when you do need to use us you know exactly who your local childminders are.
